Field Marshal Erwin Rommel

 

In Germany, the museum of mountain shooters of the First World War did not forget about Erwin Rommel. On the stand, which represents the history of the formation of the Royal Württemberg Mining and Rifle Battalion, there is a picture of the Desert Fox with the Cross "Pur le-Merit", as the brightest graduate of the battalion. Also under the glass are documents of the Würtenberg Mountain Battalion and a portrait of Field Marshal Erwin Rommel.
